The topic, Putting Parents First: Communicating Student Progress via the Internet, focused on the Lycoming and Sullivan County Performance Standards Coalition web site.

The Coalition is comprised of nine school districts with over 2,000 teachers and nearly 20,000 students. Pupilsprogress.com's main objective is to report the results of standards-based testing to parents and students of these school districts. The site tracks progress in reading, writing and mathematics in seven different sub-categories throughout the students' academic career. This Microsoft SQL database driven site creates reports for individual students, grade levels and entire schools.
