Hello Kolb Net Works Clients and Friends
Thanks for your
kind, positive comments and suggestions for this newsletter. One of
the goals of this newsletter is to help our clients and friends see
how easy it is to put out a monthly newsletter. So far we are 5 for
5 for getting the newsletter out every month this year!
Site Launch News

features a free registration area, discussion forums for educators
and a place for teachers to upload their lesson plans for sharing
with other teachers.

www.zartman.com - is
Central Pennsylvania's full service general contractor.
Conventional construction or pre-engineered buildings, new buildings
to complex remodeling, they can meet your construction needs.
Welcome New KNW Clients
This month, we
started a site for Lycoming County Conservation District, part of
Lycoming County government. This informational site will be part of
the
www.lyco.org web site.
Web Site Funding
Did you know that
some companies are using co-op advertising dollars to help fund
their web site development costs? Co-op ad dollars come from
sources including manufacturers and large brand companies. You know
how a menu sign in a diner may feature a large Coke logo? That could
be an example of Co-op ad dollars at work. Another example is when
computer manufacturers like Dell and Gateway feature the Intel
graphic and sound logos in their commercials. Intel pays part of the
cost of the commercial in order to be included in the ad. Some of
our clients already earmark co-op ad dollars to help with their web
site development costs. Contact me for more details.
Internet Marketing
I ran into a new term recently that I’d like to share with you:
“Google Dance”.
Since Google is
currently the most popular search engine, it gets watched closely by
Internet marketing professionals. Some pros have seen a search
result data pattern that they have named the Google Dance.
Sometimes, during the search engine database updates, several of the
Google servers
www.google.com,
www2.google.com,
www3.google.com (the
last 2 are thought to be test servers) can give different results
for the same search phrase. When this occurs, the servers are said
to be “dancing”. See
http://www.google-dance.com/ for more info and to see where your
web site and keywords are in the Google Dance.
Newsletter Tips
One of the
reasons that producing an email newsletter is
attractive (remember, that’s the reason I send this newsletter, so
you consider sending one out for your company, too) is the low cost.
There’s no paper cost, no ink cost, no printing cost, and no mailing
cost. If you want a great looking graphic newsletter shell you may
have a one time design fee. When you consider all the possible ways
of keeping in touch with your clients about your services and
products, email is certainly a very attractive option.
As you start your
email newsletter address list, please include my email address so I
can see how you’re doing.
Regards,
-----
